Booth Labor, Freight, and Rigging

In the right-to-work state of Georgia, there are no official union jurisdictions, granting you flexibility in labor choices for decorating and freight handling. Hanging signs are expertly handled by general contractors’ rigging crews. Exhibitors enjoy the freedom to set up displays at their own pace, using tools without time constraints. Bringing items into the halls? You’re covered—whether by hand, dolly, or wheeled cart.

Electrical & Plumbing

The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) takes charge of electrical and plumbing tasks. Power primarily emanates from the floor, with the option for ceiling drops, especially for high-power needs. Electricians kickstart the process by plugging cords into boxes, but from there, the labor contractor or exhibitor can take the reins—covering lights, AV, power strips, and more. For cords, 12-gauge is the magic number, whether flat or round.
